A jaunty Italian folk song. The cello part is written so that it can also be played by a viola. If you have a guitarist or harpsichordist (or another player of a chordal instrument) with you, you can expand (and enrich) the piece to a trio. For this purpose, the chord symbols are written down in the score and in the cello part.
